The popular electronic band Skyline led by Jakub Bina will go on tour this autumn. On the list are the cities of Prague, Brno, Pilsen, Decin, Hradec Kralove, Liberec and others. Rakovník is scheduled for December 7 in the local KC.
Skyline's ninth album is titled Superpowers and will be released in early September. The band has been working on the album for two years, so they can't wait to finally play the new songs live for their fans. Jakub Bína says: "I think our new album will have a fantastic response in the clubs. It's a lot about club music, we have a lot more dance sound than on previous records - mainly drum and bass."
"In the concert set, we will of course not forget the most important songs from the older repertoire, which are the fans' favourites. We are already playing four singles from the new album at summer festivals and will add a few more in the autumn," adds Radek Bureš, the band's founder and drummer. "People reacted well to the new songs at festivals, we are happy about that. There are several songs on the album that could - figuratively speaking - tear the roof off the clubs live," adds Radek Bureš.
A club tour is all about the close contact between the band and the audience. "To support the whole show, we bring our own lights and equipment to make it as beautiful as possible. Just a full setup, as our lighting designer Ondřej Burián says. We'll cram as much as we can into the clubs," Jakub Bína is looking forward to it.
"It's hard to say why, but we didn't play in Rakovník very often. We have never played in KC Rakovník, which makes us look forward to it all the more", adds Radek Bureš for the band.
Skyline's new video for the single Sorry Not Sorry works as a great invitation to a club tour. The band filmed it during two summer festival stops - Rock for People and Lážo Plážo Fest. If there's one thing Skyline knows how to do, it's give out energy!
