Following the success of their debut album Forever Whatever, released in early 2020, and with a solid foundation built over years of touring and writing, October Drift have confirmed their place as an important new force whose heavy, pop-inspired rock brings a rejuvenating injection of fresh blood to the genre. The album was met with widespread critical acclaim immediately upon release, garnering praise from the likes of CLASH, Kerrang! Louder Than War and many others. Their newly released sophomore album, "I Don't Belong Anywhere" - on Physical Education Recordings - is a thrilling, intimate record that marks a step forward for the band towards an even stronger, more brutal sound. Much less introspective than their debut, 'I Don't Belong Anywhere' is the October Drift totem that brings us all together again. "Everyone has or has had the feeling that we don't belong somewhere," explains singer and guitarist Kiran Roy.
Having already wowed audiences at festivals such as Glastonbury's John Peel Stage, Reading & Leeds and BST Hyde Park, as well as a major European tour with Editors, We Are Scientists, Archive & Slow Readers Club, Forever Whatever, The Naked EP and new album I Don't Belong Anywhere, the band bring together years of tireless touring and expertly crafted performances into a showcase of flawless songwriting; a statement of intent from a band more than ready to cement their place as future icons.
