IAMX, Chris Corner's music project, returns to Prague. Luckily! Last time at Lucerna Music Bar he presented Fault Lines1 - a breathtaking load of dark synths, mesmerizing melodies and visual effects. Even then everyone knew, or at least suspected, that a sequel to Fault Lines was on the way. And it's finally here. IAMX is actually a synonym for extravagance. But also for thoughtfulness to the last detail. Synonymous with the perfect visual show. And for brilliant musical expression. All of this equals IAMX, and all of it together always makes for a superior experience. Chris Corner knows exactly what he's doing and he gets the fans exactly where he wants them. Into euphoria. And maybe sometimes a little depressed. Naked.
And that's exactly what he's doing with the new record. The sequel to the successful Fault Lines1 is called Fault Lines2, very clearly and straightforwardly, and it follows the first album, but doesn't copy it, rather expands it. And as we are already used to with IAMX - it is a hyper-emotional work that makes you clench your fingers, scratch your skin, delve deeper and deeper. Like the first one, Fault Lines2 is a dark record, full of beauty and despair. Full of harsh beats, mysterious vocals, complicated melodies.
Fault Lines2 tour will start in spring and promises songs from both albums. There will be a surprise visual and light show, programmed by Chris Corner himself, which promises an explosive and dramatic performance. All fans can look forward to an evening of glitter, grime, ecstasy and desire. An evening of music that perhaps only IMAX can deliver. This is what you want to be there for!
