Darren Kiely (IE)

At the age of just five Darren learned to play the brass band, picked up the violin at the age of eight and eventually learned to play the guitar. In 2019, Darren began singing and quickly gained attention for his raw and seething vocals and emotive delivery. After winning numerous awards nationally in Irish traditional music, Darren found himself in New York City in 2022 to continue developing his own music and sound, and soon after headed to the songwriting hub of Nashville. Darren's unique presentation of pop infused with folk and a breezy narrative that reflects the backdrop of the Irish countryside where he grew up is at the forefront of his debut EP Lost, released last fall.
The seven-track project explores the victorious war of overcoming self-doubt, trying to find oneself, questioning emotions and searching for answers. Lost features new track "Mom & Dad", which debuted in the Top 40 of the Irish Singles Chart and which also took him into the Top 5 of the Irish Homegrown chart, as well as fan favourite #1 hit "Sunrise". In the autumn, Kiely embarked on THE ROAD HOME TOUR with his new music, selling out shows across his native Ireland. Following his headline tour, Kiely toured Europe with the 502s, supporting them in Prague. Following The Lost Tour, which saw him perform to sold out clubs in the UK and EU, he announces a more extensive tour, which will include a stop in Prague.
