Since their debut album "No Clouds Allowed" (2014), Carnival Youth have gained widespread recognition for their captivating songs and energetic live shows, which they have performed several times in Prague. With five well-received albums to their credit, the band has cemented their position as one of Latvia's most famous musical exports. In the last two years they have toured their homeland, during which they have played more than 100 concerts in all corners of Latvia. Moreover, the physical album "Naivais ku-kū" became the best-selling album in Latvia in 2021 and 2022.

Their undeniable talent and relentless determination have taken them beyond the borders of their homeland and graced the stages of prestigious festivals and venues across Europe and beyond, including SXSW, Sziget, Open'er, NME Club Night and many more. The band has toured Europe several times and played their first four shows in France in 2022, including their first in Paris at Le Supersonic. Carnival Youth have won several awards for their music in Latvia, including "Album of the Year" in 2016 for their album "Propeller", as well as The European Border Breakers Award at Eurosonic 2016.
