Bilk are an exciting rock and roll band from Chelmsford, Essex. Combining elements of rock and roll, punk, indie and rap, Bilk's style can never be pigeonholed. Fronted by charismatic singer and guitarist Sol Abrahams, supported by Luke Hare on bass guitar and Harry Gray on drums, Bilk appeal to today's youth, singing about partying, love, growing up and life in modern Britain, among other things. The band has a strong cult following of die-hard fans who sing every lyric at gigs and get tattoos of the band's iconic snail-shaped logo. Bilk are going from strength to strength as they tour and perform at major festivals across the UK, filling the stages of Reading and Leeds festivals, Boardmasters, Kendal calling and TRNSMT amongst others. Following the release of their self-titled debut album in 2023, the band are set to release their second album 'Essex, Drugs and Rock and Roll' early next year on 24 January 2025. In February 2025 they will embark on their biggest tour to date, playing shows across the UK and Europe.
