The most dynamic Czech electronic band was founded in 1997 in Prague.

Since then, she has played almost a thousand concerts in the Czech Republic and abroad, won numerous awards and released eight albums. Skyline are known for their energetic live show fronted by two vocalists - MC Jacob and singer Nvtvlie. The band's current lineup also includes guitarist Majkii B and founding members Radek B (drums) and Hiffi (programming, production).

1998 - the band starts touring, they will play their first ever gig as the support act for Tata Bojs in Delta club. They also participate in the legendary festival Jelení Příkop at Prague Castle together with The Orb or 808 State.

2001 - debut album Riders in The Store is released, the band becomes part of the scene centered around the Prague club Roxy.

2002 - The band plays at many festivals including Pohoda in Slovakia and the prestigious Creamfields dance festival.

2003 - Skyline will play their first concerts abroad, specifically in Portugal and Germany.

2004 - the second Urbanica album is released. Skyline wins Band of the Year at the Dance Awards, plays at the Amsterdam Dance Event in Holland and tours Poland.

2005 - Skyline support the legendary Underworld at their Prague concert, defend the Band of the Year award at the Dance Awards and win the ALMA award in the category "Best Live Band in Dance/Electronic Music".

2006 - Virginplatonicpanic's third album with the hits Ladies and Pretty Princess is released. The band wins the Band of the Year award at the Dance Awards for the third time and also wins the Óčko Music Television awards in the Dance category. The band performs at the prestigious Eurosonic festival in Groningen, the Netherlands and also for the first time in London.

2008 - fourth album Escapism is released, together with concert DVD Live In Fléda. The band will play its biggest tour in the Czech Republic to date, culminating in a sold-out album launch in the large hall of Prague's Lucerna. In addition, the band will also perform in Hungary and France.

2010 - The fifth album Private Madness, Public Danger, the first recording with singer Marka Rybin, who left Gaia Mesiah and replaced Jitka Charvátová (now Oceán) in Skyline, is released. Skyline plays at the famous Sziget festival in Hungary and for the first time in the USA.

2013 - Skyline release their sixth album Fairytapes. The album dominated digital sales in the Czech Republic for the first two weeks after its release and was a success with fans and music critics alike: "Skyline have made perhaps the most entertaining entry in their discography and sound as tight as ever on this album." (MF Today)

2016 - "The album has no weak spots and each song offers a catchy theme." (Aktuálně.cz.) Singles Timeless and Irie are scoring radio spots and the album won Album of the Year at the Ladder Awards.

2018 - Skyline perform at the Volt Festival in Hungary in the prestigious slot supporting Depeche Mode.

2020 - The eighth album Electricity is released, which again scores in the Album of the Year category at the Žebřík awards, this time in third place.

2022 - singer Marka Rybin returns full time to Gaia Mesiah and Natalie Misha aka Nvtvlie comes to Skyline. The band is working on their ninth album with the new line-up.
